On the afternoon of October 31, 2019, "the seventh postgraduate Taijiquan competition and Taijiquan Summit Forum of Henan University" was held in Zhiyi stadium of Jinming campus of Henan University. Liu Zhijun, vice president of Henan University and President of the graduate school, Miao Chen, executive vice president of the graduate school, and Bai Xianchen, vice president of the graduate school, attended the seventh graduate Taijiquan competition of Henan University. A jury composed of some teachers from the martial arts college judged the competition results.

Henan University has held Taijiquan competition for a long time. Our school adjusted the simplified 24 Style Taijiquan used in the original competition to four stages of Sun Style Taijiquan, promoted the standardization, standardization and branding of Taijiquan learning and popularization, and started to hold "postgraduate Taijiquan competition". This year is the seventh one, with more than 20000 graduate students participating in it.

After receiving the notice of the competition, our college actively organized the practice and arrangement of the 2019 graduate students. The Taijiquan performance is divided into two parts. The team enters the arena in the form of eight diagrams, and then the flag dancer enters the arena to perform the dancing flag. The flowing eight diagrams are accompanied by the performance of the flag dancer in our institute, showing the chivalry and tenderness. Our team won the recognition of the judges and teachers for its neat formation and standard movements, and won the second prize in the postgraduate Taijiquan competition of Henan University.
