On the afternoon of December 15, 2019, the student union of the Youth League Committee of the school of civil engineering and architecture of Henan University held a work summary meeting of the first semester of the 2019-2020 academic year in the lecture hall on the second floor of the structural laboratory of the college. The participants of the meeting were Xu Guixiang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the school of civil engineering and architecture, the presidium of the student union, the Youth League Committee, and the ministers and members of various departments of the student union. The meeting was presided over by Tang Qun, President of the student union.

The purpose of this meeting is to commend the outstanding student cadres and summarize the work of the first semester. At the beginning of the meeting, Xu Guixiang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Institute of civil engineering and architecture, made a speech. Xu Guixiang reviewed the achievements of our college this semester, affirmed and praised the outstanding achievements made by our student union. She expects her classmates to concentrate on their studies while doing a good job. Xu pointed out that we should pay attention to methods and efficiency in our work, deal with interpersonal relationships well in our life, actively adjust our mentality, control our emotions, and actively seek solutions to problems when facing troubles and difficulties.

Zhou Shenglang, deputy student Secretary of the Youth League Committee, read out the commendation decision of student leaders of the student union of the Youth League Committee of the Institute of civil engineering and architecture and the science and innovation center of university students in the first semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. Mr. Xu Guixiang and members of the presidium presented honorary certificates and prizes to the award-winning cadres and took a group photo as a memento.

Pan Yiqing, the outstanding student union cadre representative, Qu Shaowei, the outstanding student union member representative, the head of each department (Group) of the student union of the Youth League Committee, and the members of the presidium of the student union of the Youth League committee spoke on the stage in turn. They all talked about their feelings of working in the student union as a member of the student union, and made a summary of their work.

Tang Qun, chairman of the student union, mentioned that the work of the student union is hard, and a positive attitude is indispensable to make the work of the student union better. He also stressed that as the end of the semester approaches, we should not neglect the important task of study even if we do a good job in the work of the student union.

This work summary meeting not only affirmed the work of all departments of the student union, but also summarized the shortcomings in its work. The holding of this meeting not only enhanced the cohesion of all departments, but also provided valuable suggestions for the work of all departments in the next semester.
