Graduation requirements of engineering education certification for civil engineering major of civil engineering and Architecture College

1. Engineering knowledge: apply mathematics, natural science, engineering foundation and professional knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.


1.1 be able to use the basic knowledge of mathematics, have the ability of mathematical thinking, spatial imagination and mathematical modeling;


1.2 be able to use the basic knowledge of mechanics, and have the mechanical modeling ability to analyze engineering problems;


1.3 be able to use basic knowledge of physics and chemistry and have basic scientific literacy;


1.4 be able to use the basic knowledge of computer technology and engineering graphics, and have the basic ability to express the characteristics of civil engineering;


1.5 be able to use the basic knowledge of civil engineering, and have the ability to summarize and analyze the structural characteristics of different types of civil engineering.


2. Problem analysis: apply the basic principles of mathematics, natural science and engineering science to identify, express and analyze complex engineering problems through literature research, so as to obtain effective conclusions.


2.1 be able to use the basic principles of mathematics, natural science, mechanics and structure to comprehensively judge the key engineering problems and their influencing factors;


2.2 be able to use the basic principles of mathematics, natural science, mechanics and other professional knowledge to describe professional complex engineering problems;


2.3 be able to use the basic principles of structure combined with modern information acquisition technology, and have the ability of comprehensive analysis of complex civil engineering problems.


3. Design / development solutions: be able to design special systems, structures, components or construction schemes of civil engineering, and embody the sense of innovation and sustainable development.


3.1 be able to use the basic principles and analysis methods of structure, and have the ability of structural component calculation and analysis;


3.2 be able to comprehensively use structural design, construction principles and analysis methods, and have the ability of basic unit design and construction of civil engineering;


3.3 be able to comprehensively use structural design, construction principles and analysis methods, and have the ability of civil engineering structural system design and construction;


3.4 be able to use new materials, new equipment, new technology in the design and construction scheme, and have a certain sense of innovation.


4. Research: scientific methods are used to study complex engineering problems, and reasonable and effective conclusions are obtained through data processing and information synthesis and applied to engineering practice.


4.1 be able to master the basic principles of professional related experiments, debug and operate experimental devices and equipment, and select safe and scientific experimental methods;


4.2 be able to make preliminary use of relevant computer knowledge and mechanical analysis program, and have the comprehensive ability to use existing engineering analysis software to solve complex engineering problems;


4.3 be able to use the basic principles and analysis methods of structure and experiment, and have the innovative and comprehensive ability to solve complex problems in the professional field.


5. Use modern tools: for complex engineering problems, have the ability to develop, select and use modern engineering tools and information technology tools.


5.1 be able to use various modern information technology means and tools to consult literature and obtain professional information;


5.2 be able to develop, select and use modern tools, and have the ability to predict and simulate complex engineering problems;


5.3 be able to correctly judge the limitations of various prediction and simulation tools and reasonably apply the analysis results.


6. Engineering and society: be able to evaluate the design, construction and operation of civil engineering projects, and understand the responsibilities of civil engineers.


6.1 be able to understand the responsibilities of civil engineers, and understand the relevant professional laws and regulations and industry standards;


6.2 be able to consider social, health, safety, legal and cultural factors, and evaluate project design, construction, operation schemes and solutions to complex problems.


7. Environment and sustainable development: be able to understand and evaluate the impact of engineering practice on environment and social sustainable development.


7.1 be able to understand the impact of engineering practice of complex engineering problems on environment, social sustainable development, etc;


7.2 be able to evaluate the impact of engineering practice on environmental and social sustainable development, and formulate corresponding solutions.
