The Institute of Traffic Engineering, School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Henan University, currently has 5 full-time researchers, all with a master's degree or above, of which 3 have a doctorate degree, 1 is a PhD candidate, and 4 associate professors. The Institute of Traffic Engineering brings together high-level talents in roads, bridges, materials, geotechnical, environmental protection and other disciplines. It has obvious advantages in the discipline group, high theoretical level, rich practical experience, and combines theory with practice to carry out a full range of road transportation. , Multi-angle and interdisciplinary research.

The scientific research team focuses on teaching, scientific research, technical consulting and technical services in the field of road and transportation disciplines. He has completed more than 30 scientific research projects, participated in more than 10 technical consultations, published more than 130 academic papers, obtained 6 national invention patents, more than 20 scientific research awards at all levels, and more than 10 textbooks and monographs. Compared with similar research institutions at home and abroad, the preliminary research results have reached the domestic leading level in the research fields of roadbed and pavement design, old road widening and reconstruction, silt roadbed treatment, road building materials, road evaluation and maintenance, and transportation environmental protection. Give strength to the development of transportation science and technology, and strive to transform scientific research results into productive forces to serve local economic development. Technical service areas cover: traffic planning, route design, subgrade and pavement design, key technologies for subgrade and pavement construction, special foundation treatment, monitoring and testing, evaluation and reinforcement, rendering of renderings, environmental impact assessment, environment and landscape design, etc.

The Institute of Traffic Engineering is responsible for the teaching and training of graduate and undergraduate students. Under the overall arrangement of the school, the institute recruits full-time master's students, including: civil engineering academic master's graduate students, civil and construction professional master's graduate students, civil engineering master's degree (vocational technical education) professional master's graduate students. Yuan Yuqing, Director, Dean of Road and Bridge Engineering Department. Doctor of Engineering, postdoctoral, associate professor, master tutor, graduated from Chang'an University. Engaged in road and traffic engineering research all year round. Presided over and participated in 10 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, published more than 70 academic papers, of which more than 20 were collected by EI, participated in editing 3 textbooks and monographs, edited 2 textbooks, 1 monograph, and 3 national invention patents. Zhao Limin, PhD in engineering, associate professor, graduated from Tongji University. Engaged in scientific research and teaching in the fields of municipal engineering, water pollution prevention, transportation and environmental protection. (3) Liu Fengli

Liu Fengli, master of engineering, PhD candidate, associate professor. Engaged in the research of green high-performance building materials. Presided over and participated in more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, published more than 20 academic papers, including 1 double-collected SCI/EI, 2 included EI, participated in the compilation of 3 textbooks and monographs, and 1 national invention patent.

(4) Li Peng

Li Peng, master of engineering, lecturer. Engaged in scientific research and teaching in subgrade and pavement engineering, structural engineering, construction technology, building materials and other fields. Participated in 4 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, published many academic papers, of which 4 were collected by EI and 2 textbooks were edited.

Wang Huan, male, doctor of engineering, associate professor, graduated from Chang'an University, mainly engaged in road engineering and traffic planning research.
