On June 10, our institute specially invited Dr. Li feiran, assistant to the general manager of Henan transportation planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and President of bridge design and Research Institute, to the lecture hall on the second floor of the structural experimental building of our institute to give a report exchange meeting with the theme of "R & D and practice of Bridge Technology in Henan Province". Some teachers and students attended the report exchange meeting. The meeting was presided over by vice president Zhang Jianwei.

Dr. Li feiran first introduced the company, especially the bridge Institute's specific situation and achievements in recent years. Then he introduced the representative bridges in Henan Province from the Yellow River Bridge and highway bridge, and showed you the aerial photos of the bridge, which caused the amazement of all teachers and students. At the same time, the design concept and characteristics of each bridge are explained in detail, which provides students with rich professional knowledge. Dr. Li also introduced municipal bridges and international bridges, analyzed the shortcomings of traditional bridges and the advantages of modern bridges from a professional point of view, shared the advanced "tilt photography technology + virtual design" technology, and broadened the students' horizons. He said that Henan Province is a big cultural province, which is also the advantage of everyone. I hope students can give full play to this advantage in their future study and work, embody culture in bridge design, design bridges with Henan characteristics, and establish their own advantages in the competition with peers.
