In order to improve the quality of innovative and applied talents training for civil engineering and related specialties and promote BIM practical teaching in Colleges and universities, sponsored by the Education Committee of China Civil Engineering Society and Tsinghua University civil and Water Conservancy College, the civil engineering and Transportation College of South China University of technology, the Civil Engineering College of Harbin University of technology, the Civil Engineering College of Xi'an University of construction technology The third national college students structural design information technology competition 2020-2021, CO sponsored by Guangdong civil architecture society, Guangdong Architectural Design Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Construction Industry Press, civil engineering and Transportation College of South China University of technology and Shenzhen Guangxia Technology Co., Ltd., has been successfully concluded. Four teams of our college have participated in the competition and won one first prize respectively, The excellent results of 1 second prize and 2 third prize.

  This competition is aimed at the college students of civil engineering and related majors in China, and has set up a stage of competition. The competition has 360 national colleges and universities' instructors and athletes to participate in the competition, group a enrollment schools 262, 186 schools submitted 891 works. All the competitors learn from each other, strive hard and compete fairly, which greatly improves the university students' ability of scientific and technological innovation and practical skills.

  Our hospital has four teams to participate in the competition. Through six months of unremitting efforts and team cooperation, we have completed the whole process of BIM structure design and submitted the works, and finally stood out among 891 effective works in national universities. Three teams, guided by heziqi, won the first prize for the "building strong heart" team composed of Li Wen, fujiaxin and zhangzhaoyi. The "bimboys" team composed of wangxinfei, haomengxiang and shaojiaqi won the third prize, and the "Star Star team" composed of Ma Dong, Songtao and xinyiwen won the third prize; A team led by Mr. duwenfeng, composed of dongshangbin, Hanchuang and Yuehao, won the second prize.

  The 172 day hard work, reviewing the whole process of the competition, not only gained solid knowledge of structural design, but also enhanced the deep understanding of the structure system. Undoubtedly, it is a rare experience to team members, which not only enhances the communication and cooperation between the members and teachers, but also enhances the understanding of BIM design and application, expands the innovative thinking and improves the practical ability. These awards are not only the honor of the team, but also the feedback to the teachers for their guidance and support.
