At the meeting, Wang fuming, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, Professor of Zhengzhou University and doctoral supervisor, gave an academic lecture entitled "my dream of" Dam Road ". The majority of teachers and students came to the scene with a warm atmosphere and full seats.
Academician Wang fuming has been engaged in the theoretical and technical research on the safety maintenance of infrastructure for a long time, and has made systematic innovation achievements in the prevention and treatment of leakage and gushing water and hidden diseases of infrastructure. This report is divided into three parts. The first part is "the dream of rural youth". Academician Wang introduced that when he was young, he had a "dream of water control" because of a flood disaster. He grasped the opportunity to "grind a sword for ten years" and studied water conservancy for ten years. After graduation, he did not fear all kinds of dangers and decided to return home to engage in Road nondestructive testing and disease diagnosis research. I shared my dream road with the teachers and students here. The second part is "the medical skill of building a solid dam". Academician Wang introduced the three major achievements of his team in the past 30 years, including road and airport disease diagnosis and treatment technology, dam and underground engineering leakage and gushing water prevention technology, and underground pipeline trenchless repair technology. The third part is "mission of Badao hospital". Academician Wang pointed out that his 30-year practice of "consolidating the dam and cultivating the way" made him feel the urgent need of building "engineering hospital" in China. His team is committed to building "engineering hospital system" and has successively established the South headquarters (Huizhou) and 39 branches of engineering hospital. Academician Wang also hopes to establish a larger open and shared comprehensive service platform, and encourage high school students and college students here to learn from the innovative dedication of the older generation of scientists, advocate science and love science. He also proposed the "double ten" project to be launched in the next ten years: ten years and ten sessions. By organizing universities, vocational schools, senior high schools and junior high schools across the country to jointly carry out the "investigation and analysis of youth ideals and college students' employment", we will build a platform for solving professional problems and chasing dreams for teenagers across the country.
Finally, Yue Jianwei, Dean of School of civil engineering and architecture of Henan University, made a concluding speech. Thank you to Academician Wang, and hope that the students will have a dream, work hard, live up to their youth, learn a skill well, serve the society and serve the motherland.
There was a strong academic atmosphere in this lecture, and the teachers and students on the scene had a positive interaction with Academician Wang. Through this lecture, the teachers and students in the school have strengthened their confidence in pursuing the scientific dream, and have a preliminary understanding of the problems existing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foundation engineering diseases in China, as well as the methods and strategies to solve the problems. Everyone said that the lecture was rich in content and profound in thought, which benefited a lot. It not only further expands the academic vision, but also points out the right direction for our teachers, graduate students and teenagers to pursue their dreams.
Before the meeting, Lu Keping, Secretary of the Party committee of Henan University, met with Academician Wang fuming. He warmly welcomed Academician Wang to Henan University, praised Academician Wang's gratifying achievements over the years and made great contributions to the national infrastructure. Secretary Lu Keping hoped that Academician Wang fuming would visit Henan University frequently to help Henan University develop rapidly, build a scientific research development platform, contribute to the construction of "double first class" of Henan University, and cultivate more excellent talents for the prosperity of the motherland.
Wang fuming was born in March 1957 in Shenqiu County, Henan Province. He graduated from Dalian University of technology in 1987. In 1996, he won the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars. At present, he is the director of national and local joint engineering laboratory for major infrastructure inspection and repair technology, director of International Joint Research Center for Trenchless Technology of underground infrastructure, chairman of China Trenchless Technology Association, and member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. Professor Wang fuming has been engaged in the research on the theory and technology of infrastructure safety maintenance for a long time, and has made systematic innovation achievements in the prevention and treatment of leakage and gushing water and hidden diseases in infrastructure projects. He put forward a new method of constructing flexible impervious core of soil embankment, established the diffusion theory of non-aqueous reactive polymer, and invented a complete set of technology and equipment of polymer grouting for seepage control and surge blocking of embankment and underground engineering. He established the inversion theory of dielectric and mechanical properties of layered structure, proposed the high polymer fine grouting method based on nondestructive testing, and developed the fast trenchless repair technology for expressway, high-speed railway ballastless track and underground pipeline. The research results are widely used in the foundation engineering seepage prevention repair and emergency rescue, and solve a number of major engineering problems. Professor Wang fuming won one second prize of national technology invention, one second prize of national science and technology progress, one third prize of national science and technology progress, and won the international trenchless academic research award and Henan science and technology outstanding contribution award. He was elected academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015.
