On the morning of May 3, Henan University held the 99th anniversary of the May 4th Movement and the May 4th commendation meeting in the lecture hall on the second floor of the administration building. At the commendation meeting, the school of civil engineering and architecture received many awards. The Youth League Committee of civil engineering and Architecture College won the title of "May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee of Henan University in 2017"; Zhang Yage, director of the Party Committee Office of civil engineering and Architecture College, won the "May 4th Youth Medal of Henan University in 2017"; the Youth Volunteer Association of civil engineering and Architecture College won the collective title of advanced youth volunteer service unit of Henan University in 2017; and the civil engineering and Architecture College won the title of "creating youth" in 2018 "Excellent organization award" of Henan University Entrepreneurship Competition.

Since the nineteen Party's Congress, the League organizations at all levels have thoroughly studied and implemented Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with China's characteristics, firmly established political awareness, overall awareness, core consciousness and sense of alignment, and United and led the youth to carry out work closely around the central task of the school. The League Committee of our college responded positively to the call of the school, thoroughly studied and implemented the socialist ideology and the nineteen spirits of Xi Jinping's new China characteristic, and promoted the ideological and moral quality and political level of our youth league members. We should conscientiously complete all the tasks assigned by the Youth League Committee and the Party committee of the college, so as to achieve the work requirements of uniting the youth, serving the overall situation, being a good bridge, and strictly administering the league.
